I am looking forward to attending our 50th reunion. It is yet another opportunity to rehash the glory days. NSHS was a a catalyst for my passion for sports. It is where I competed and got to refine my skills from playground to the tennis and basketball court and golf course. I recall a rather life defining experience in my sophomore homeroom when our teacher, Mr. Stephen Timler asked us students to write our career choice down on an index card. I wrote that I wanted to be a high school teacher and coach and from that time on I set out to accomplish that goal. I went on to teach and coach a variety of sports and later became an Athletic Director.
