Hello from paradise, Lakewood Ranch, FL., where we have lived for 13 years.
It has been a great ride, since leaving Fort Wayne. Margie and I have been married 46 years. We've lived in Ft. Polk, LA; Columbia, MD; Livonia, MI; Eden Prairie, MN and now Lakewood Ranch, FL. A career selling consumer products in the Mass and Grocery trade with Chesebrough-Ponds, Unilever and Seventh Generation. Most of those years as a Sales Director in the Midwest, West and finally the South, which gained me platinum status with Delta and Marriott. We kept our priorities focused on home and our two wonderful children, Melanie and David. Melanie graduated from Michigan State, where she played Div. I soccer, followed by her MA at U of MN, Carlson School of Management. She is now CEO of Perry Coaching and Consulting. She and Rob, Crystal Lake, IL, have blessed us with Charlotte, a beautiful and loquacious 4-year-old. David after experiencing hockey in the USHL graduated from St. Cloud State. Enjoying the MN weather, they live in Mound, MN. As a Sr. Professional Employer Consultant with Paychex, he and Tracey have their dream home on Lake Minnetonka, MN. They have blessed us with Taylor and Jon, 5 & 3 who are just adorable.
I retired in 2017 with two primary goals: 1. Margie and I fully enjoying retirement. 2. Golf: Still my passion… Shooting my age. We’re doing a great job on #1 and #2… getting closer.
