Retired at 60 from the consumer packaged goods industry after selling to major retailers in US/Canada/Mexico/Central America/Caribbean and Western Europe. Married 45 years to Pat (Beard NSHS '71). We raised our two kids on Florida Drive and both of them graduated from NSHS.
Since retiring have spent majority of my time on my nearly 50 year interest and study of Fort Wayne History. Have written three books on city's past, dozens of articles, and give numerous ppt lectures every year on our city's rich/interesting history. Founder of the Fort Wayne History Roundtable and am constantly involved in local history research projects. Fort Wayne has got it going on and life is good!
